Question One more questions and a thank you to all!

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for all your advice on what to get him. Thanks for the advice on the humping and thanks for the advice on the "sour green apple" spray (which doesn't seem to phase him. He still goes near things that are sprayed! Lol.).

I have one more question.
It is about marking territory.

My doggy is housebroken. So he doesn't just randomly pee or poop in the house. He seems to spray a teeny bit when I put him on the leash to go outside. My vet said marking territory and housebroken are two different things.

Anyways, he seems to be "marking territory" more than normal. When I went to the vets today, he was peeing in little spirts in certain areas. We asked the vet she said he was doing that because other animals were in there and peed and he wanted to make his territory. I thought that was fine, until we got home. He marked territory on our dressor and wall (and we have no other pets).

My questions are (and the more answers and info the better): Is this normal? Is it because he is nervous from the switch? Does it stop? And how can I get him to stop (asap)? Although it isn't a lot, I don't want pee everywhere.

Also, one more question. When I walk him (several times a day). He poops fine. But peeing is a different subject. We will walk and he will pee for about 3-4 seconds and then stop. Then he finds another spot and does that again. He does this about 5-6 times. I don't know when he is done. I continue to walk him, seeing if he spirts (as I call it, since it is not a full pee) and he doesn't. But I want to know if this is normal, or will he eventually pee all at once? And could this be from nervous and change (change in house, vets, people, etc).?

Thanks. This forum is absoutley great. I don't know where I would go without all y'all help!
Muito obrigado (thank you very much in Portuguese!)!

Love and hugs,
ª Keri
