Question Humping?

Hey everyone!

Thanks for the birthday wishes!
I picked up Buddy at 11:30 today.
The previous owner gave me a kennel (big), brush, clippers, leash and most importantly, BUDDY!

As soon as we got into the car he adjusted well to me and my husband, and ever since it is like he never had another home.

After picking him up we went to the vets. He got his rabie shot, the distemper (and everything that comes along with it) and a check-up and he is very healthy. He weighs 10 pounds. Is that big for a pure bread Yorkie?

We went to Petsmart for food and Target for a gate, he was great! In is old home he was stuck in the kennel all day and night long. So I think he enjoys this.

I have one question.
Every since he has come home he has been humping blankets. I gave me a fleece blanket, that is his, and he his humping my husbands quilt. We sprayed the green apple stuff on my hubby's blanket and he is still humping away.

He is NOT fixed. Is this the time of year that they hump, or will this go on forever?

And should I stop it or let him do it? He is not doing it to anything else, but the blanket. Weird!

Any advice would be great.
Thanks!
Keri

P.S. I will post pics tomorrow. And I got such a cute, cute ID tag that is shaped like him! It is coming in a week.

Thanks for all of your advice so far!
