I can only tell you what we use. Since I have had a trainer I have learned so much. Well on the fighting we use a coke can with noise makers inside taped on the top. (you can use screws, ?, nuts, beans) anyway every time they get into it. SHAKE the can and it distracts them mine run away.
It was a door issue also they (mine) would attacked anyone at the sound of the door bell. Or anyone coming in the back door.
