Well she might not feel well from the shots- that's always possible. But I can't even remember how long i had to pick out a piece for layla... put it on the floor... and she would eat it.... i think it is very common among yorkies. Maybe put a handful of the food on floor for her. Also when we first got Layla we HAD to sit and eat with her... she just wanted the company
