Default Tucker's at the Vet

This is his third day of having diarhea. I changed his food three weeks ago and have just recently made the full switch, so I thought it might be that cause he's got a fairly sensitive system. However when he woke with it again this morning, and I took him in. I had to drop him off becasue they are double booked with appointments today and I couldn't get him a regular appointment.

I cried when I left because he was crying and shaking. I know it's for his own good, but I hate to leave him when he's sick like that. Especially knowing he's scared.

The vet tech just called and said he's lost a couple ounces. He was only 4.1to begin with. He's on interceptor, but the tech said he could still have a tapeworm. They haven't been able to run tests yet. He's also been dragging his bottom accross the floor, so mabe that's what it is.

The only other thing I can think of is the birdfeeder we have outside. We've had it for a while and noticed Tucker eating some of the seeds the birds drop. We let it get empty for a while and my husband just recently filled it up again. So either he's having a recation to the seeds or maybe he's eaten bird poop and it's caused an infection? Either way, I've already moved the feeder out of this the back yard. It never crossed my mind until today that it could be dangerous.

I'm really worried about him and am on the edge of my seat waiting for a call.
I'll probably call in about an hour if I don't hear from them.
