I wish my mom could do them too, we were considering it ,until we brought her to the groomer (A very proffesional woman) And when she went to cut her nail keely kicked and she cut the quick, It scared the crap out of us all and when i came back i started crying and you could tell the groomer had been bawling her eyes out. She offered to give us the whole grooming free, but we payed her extra because she felt really bad and was very nice about it. So if that happens when a proffesional does it, no way am i letting mom do it
