Thanks for your response ladies. I changed vets and she did not see taping as evil or cruel.
Amazingly enough, she said some breeders bring both ears straight up........ then superglue just the very sides of the ear where they meet.
She did not say this was mean, although..I kinda freaked when I heard that. Course I've gotten superglue on my fingers and it did not hurt...
I will be trying the masking tape tho:-)
