You can get belly bands on ebay or I'm sure you can find someone on here that sells them also. You buy pads to put inside them and then if they go you just toss the pad. I have a small mixed breed dog that even though he was neutered will sometimes try to mark places. The belly band saved my life. I also bought a diaper for my girl puppy but that doesn't work too well because of the poo. Of course the first night I put it on her she pooed all in her diaper and it was coming out everywhere. So the males are a lot easier. About the carpeting, I bought a carpet cleaner and I use the cleaner that is meant for dog accidents, pet oxyclean I think it is. That gets out all the smell. Get a belly band right away. It might take him a few days to get used to it but you are going to love it. |
