I was going to say that Meat sure coast a lot more than beans, rice, cheese, pasta, eggs. You dont need a lot of MONEY to shop for other alternatives to meat. I am a vegetarian and I can tell you,their is other way's to get your protein if you can't afford the USDA regulated meat that your butcher/ store is supposed to provide for you to purchase here in the USA. I would be concerned for the health of my child and myself if some butcher offered me free meat of any kind, let alone cat or dog. How do you know if they are disease free especially sense it's most likely would be stray animals that he is offering
Also just because it's fine in other countries doesn't mean I have to agree that "Hay its just an animal so their for it could be diner to night! " No thank you! I do not need my mind broaden on this subject. As I said before I am a vegetarian but I don't come on here posting threads to broaden meat eaters minds on turning vegetarian. |
I was thinking that too..but didnt want to say. Meat is more expensive than rice, etc. I'm a veg. too and buy alternate meat, or 'fake' meat and i dont find it expensive at all. I know plenty of meats that can be more expensive to buy but again i didn't want to say it...and i'd rather keep my mouth shut before i said something bad lol
