I have heard of belly bands, but don't quite understand how they work.

If someone direct me to a good "brand" or maker and explain the whole thing to me, I'd be forever grateful!!!

Also.....what can I do about the smell?? Again, I can't rip carpet up b/c I rent an apartment, ideally that's what I would do...I have a 3 year old and a yorkie!! I HATE carpet!!! Ha Ha

But..........any ideas on that topic would be awesome as well, thanks you guys! Gosh, I've missed it here!!!
