I know what you are going through I've been there myself. Remy has always hated having her nails clipped even though I'm careful not to make her nails bleed ,I think just the sound of the clippers makes her nervous. I bought a peticure nail grinder (This dremel style tool has a guard on it) and while Tia doesn't mind the grinder Remy's nails are so short that they dont reach the sanding drum very well...SOOO!!! I went to the drug store and bought a metal emery file.I sit in a comfy chair with Remy on her back in my lap and I file her nails . I do this once a week so there's not much to file on each nail ( when I see a small dot in the centre of the filed nail I stop ).This may seem like it would take a long time but I used to spend at least 30 min. just to trim her nails ,she would fight the whole time.She is more relaxed with the emery file and the whole process takes about 10 min. now ( a lot less stressfull for both of us)
