About the rabies vaccination/booster....My vet told me the chances of my dogs contracting rabies were slim to none, since they are not "outside" dogs and only spend limited time outdoors, and always supervised.
BUT he said if by some small chance, grumpy Darcy snapped at a child, and I couldn't PROOVE she had her vaccinations, I could be in a world of trouble. He said the rabies vaccination now-a-days is more for the protection of the humans/homeowner. Food for thought. |
