I agree, Annie LOVED peas. It'd be worth a try to see if she'd be just as happy with regular peas, then you wouldn't have to worry and could give her some more if she wanted.
As a side note...I've always wanted to name a dog, Wasabi. I just love the sound of the word. I campaigned for it for both Boo and Yogi, but my husband apparently has problems with naming a dog after a Japanese condiment.
