The Royal Canin is not a great food either - you really have to look at ingredients, not just the fact that it says on the label "made for yorkies" - that's just a marketing name. Anyone can put that on any label. Royal Canin has CORN, CORN GLUTEN, BEET PULP, etc - all of which can be HIGHLY irritating to your little baby. Considering your baby seems to exhibiting digestive pain, I would discontinue both foods immediately if it were me - and instead get him on a premium food. Neither food he is currently on is considered premium or allergen free.

As a nurse, I'm of the opinion that when dealing with pain - you should be aggressive, not unsafe of course, but aggressive in all efforts to stop the source of the pain. I really do think you should find another kibble altogether.
