I never thought of that. He weighs 7 lbs. Now I will say this, that since I started adding the probiotics to his food, he is doing better. But I think I will take him to the vet as suggested and have them do a profile on his bacteria level. they did that for my other Yorkie and found his bacteria level was very high and they put him on anti-biotics and then I started the probiotic with him also. I give them a little yogurt each day too from my cup...I don't think this is harmful since I use the healthy kind and it has the reommended dose of probitics.
thanks so much

Yes take him to the Vet for a full blood panel and find out what is going on, as he shouldn't have to be in pain like that. Yogurt is good for them. I feed mine the Organic Stonyfield (low fat vanilla) - they love it
Also, I hate to say it, but I don't think Royal Cain is 'that' good of a food. And them calling it a Yorkie Type is really just a Marketing Ploy, nothing more and nothing less - and I wouldn't rule it out either as it really could be the cause to his GI issues as well. I think he should be on a Single Source Protein Diet - Natural Balance has a Duck and Potato, and I am sure that other brands have something too

Please keep us posted!
