My Chewy is 4 yrs old and is a spayed female, and she humps me! Since she's generally good with me and respectful (knows I'm in charge), I assumed it WAS sexual and would let her, thinking she needed to get her urges out. Now I know it's definitely not that, and that she really is trying to show her dominance. I'm going to try a few of the things you all suggested, making her wait for her food etc... Oops! Thanks!!! Also to the person who posted this thread... When your dog does this I suggest just persistently pushing her away, even if it takes 20 tries. I plan on now just pushing her off me, and I'll move away if need be. When I say in a stern voice "no", she usually listens (sometimes it takes a few tries), but she doesn't like to "disappoint" me, as I believe these dogs like to please their owners? Stand your ground. In other situations I've used the technique before someone else mentioned here, where you gently grab her and put her on her back, letting you know YOU're the "leader of the pack".
