So I made a appt. today for my little Dixie to get spayed and microchipped on Oct. 15. She will be just six months old. Her brother (from a different yorkie litter) will not be getting neutered yet, he is two weeks younger. Teddy is my twin daughters little yorkie and Maxie (who is already neutered and almost a year old) is our wonderful little rescue yorkie that belongs to my other twin daughter. They will both be here waiting for her to come home from her surgery. My question is what should I expect? Should I keep Dixie separated from them when she comes home to recover? How long should I expect her to be recovering? They all three play so well together as well as eat and sleep together that I am really wondering what I might expect. She will problely be there overnite at the vets office, I am sure going to miss her and will problely want to campout on thier sidewalk or something. Any advice?
