Welcome!!!! You will enjoy it here. I (personally) don't know what to say about the eye goop. Although it may be allergy's, could be due to food u might be feeding, or cleaning products that may be use on floors or furniture. I'm sure someone here will have answers for you. Again, welcome to YT.
