Default Still looking for a breeder

I wouldn't mind a rescue but, I had such a sick dog for so many years that I would just like to have the experience of a healthy puppy. We were at the vet all the time with my first yorkie and at the last visit the vet sat on the floor with him and just giggled at the fact of how well he was doing and the long life he led considering all his issues. He passed away shortly after that visit. It was very expensive to keep him alive and a lot of work. I really loved him and it was very hard to watch his decline. I know rescues generally come with problems. Having said that, let me get my healthy puppy and then I will positively take a rescue as another member of our family. That was my plan. I know just about every problem a Yorkie can have. I would be a good mom.
I got my dog through a local breeder and did my research and still had problems. I do not mind traveling to find a great breeder. No planes, it has to be a reasonable drive, but you would think this populated area would provide me with at least a few names.
Anyone with ideas!!!!!!???!!
Thanks
