That recall list is old. Those foods, as far as I know, are not being recalled right now.

Some people like high protein and some people don't.
It comes down to your feeding philosophy.
If Innova Evo says don't give it to small dogs, then I wouldn't.
If another website says don't give it to small dogs, that is an opinion.

I don't believe there is one brand of dog food on the market without past or current problems or some concern.

Are there any brands you are semi-comfortable with?

And although I fully support homecooking, any of the ingredients or supplements I use could be recalled at any time. I am slightly more comfortable with food fit for human consumption though because recalls "may" happen faster if there is a problem...
