It could be as simple as a bit more exercise, or maybe putting in some new toys during the day. Also, replacing the baby gate with something higher would be useful.

Thank!!! Not a big chewer besides teething type things, mouths me a little but not much. He won't chew on anything besides toys when I'm home and they have more toys then Petsmart!!!
Yeah, I'm thinking of blocking the gate with the kitchen chairs.
