put their ID on a collar and put collars on them at all times (except when you are not there to watch them, you dont want them to get caught and choke on the collar) and take the harnesses off when you are not going for a walk. This allows them to have ID tags on and they can't chew the harness. My boys went through like a million harnesses also and they still go to chew on them. I just say "NO" and they stop but I know what you mean, we went from blue to red to green to purple and now we are on black! LOL
