If your baby's heat hasn't started @ 7 mos, don't worry about it yet. If it doesn't start after about a year old, talk to your vet.

Sometimes putting her on a heating pad on the LOWEST heat can help w/ her cramps. I did that with my other Yorkie, Ladybug, & that seemed to help her.

Just a note, once you spay a doggie, she will gain some weight. Jewel gained about a pound or so after being spayed. She only went thru 2 heats (remember, they can't be spayed DURING a heat) & didn't bleed much. Her genitalia DID get swollen & it lasted about 3 wks too.
