I live in Montana where it does get -40 and once got to -54. I knitted Snoodles lots of sweaters and she loves them. However, she runs out the door when it's cold and quickly turns around to go back in. We have to stand on the porch and tell her to go potty. The minute she is through, she runs back in like she was shot out of a gun. I do feel sorry for them in the winter---I hate it too. She won't tolerate booties, so I am sure her feet are frozen. I always cuddle with her and warm her up after. Poor little things! And, she loves to take a walk, but it is almost impossible in the winter!
