My grandma has been very sick lately. Well not physically sick but mentally sick. She has lost her mind. She was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and doesn't remember most of us, If she does remember us she mixes up our names. It is not only her memory but she has become aggressive lately. We had to take her to the hospital last night and she just kept screaming that people were shooting us, to get down because they were going to kill us. When the doctor came she started hitting him, once she became calm she started crying hysterically that her children were all dead, when we are all standing around her. It was very sad because she started asking about her father (She is 79 and her dad has been dead for almost 25 years), she kept telling us that her father was there and that he was holding her had. She was absolute delirious. She has also made imaginary friends, she keeps talking to a wall and she tell us that there is an old lady that is talking to her.

It has been very emotionally straining on everyone especially my grandpa (her husband) to see here like that because she was always a very strong and smart woman.

We are not sure what to do yet, we all agreed that she can't be at home acting like that because she has taken to going outside and wandering around. Just 3 days ago my Grandpa went to go get her some lunch and when he got back she was gone. He found her 2 blocks away sitting next to a trash can and talking about how her "friend" was singing to her.

It is very sad to see someone in that mental stage. I ask if you could please pray for my grandma and my family during this tough time, but especially my grandfather since he is taking this very hard.
