When Lexie had her pups last year, I used Mardelin's whelping pudding recipie for probably the first week or two.....just added a little of it to Lexie's food everytime she ate. She only had 4 puppies compared to your 7....I just didn't want to take any chances of her getting low on her calcium supply while feeding the pups.
I agree with the others that with 7 pups to feed you need to do something extra to keep up her calcium supply.
