That has never happened at Ellie's vet and I wouldn't be happy.
In fact, we were given an estimate for her oral surgery and in the end it was lower than the lowest estimate. The vet also called in the middle to talk about what she was seeing and what had to be done...
I think the vet should eat the cost.
