I know what you/re going through. I lost my Chancie, June 18th, my birthday. He got off his lead when he saw a stray cat in our yard and chased it right in front of a car. The driver never even stopped. I had a real hard time with his loss. He was my little entertainer, went to the office with me everyday..everyone loved him. Dancie Chancie was what we called him.. He was my Annabelles "husband" though Annabelle was diagnosed as unable to conceive, immature ovaries, lack of progesterone...the list went on. Annabelle is 4 yrs. old. About 4 wks after Chancies death, Annabelle tried jumping on my lap and wasn't able to get up on the couch. I picked her up and thought, we really need to cut back on your treats. I looked at her stomach and thought "she looks pregnant". I took her to the vet the very next day and x-rays revealed 2 babies. This was my miracle that Chancie left me before he left this world. The babies, a little boy and girl are now 8 wks old and I can see so much of Chancie in their comedian attitude. I still have bouts of crying for my little guy and can only hope it will get better with time. I wish the same for you. |
