I wonder sometimes where our tax dollars "really" go when we don't see our tax dollars at work. CA. even has LOTTO which is supposed to go to schools, roads and such but none of our schools have seen a dime, and our roads are about the worst in the nation.

I know MN. sure is slammed with a zillion taxes. Their license plates say "the land of 10,000 lakes", but I've seen people with plate covers that say "the land of 10,000 taxes".

I think most European countries have the right idea about how to use your tax dollars. Germany for instance has college paid for if kids want to go, and Spain gives old folks nice places to live at no cost to them and money each month to live on and all medical taken care of. (think I'll move)
