My mini dachshund is HORRIBLE on the leash, it got to the point where you would literally had to just drag him, and he got the point, and now he does really well. I would bring along treats and see if that helps as a reward of moving forward! Leash walking can be very stressful sometimes! Fiona has grown out of it. Just try walking a little bit at a time! I'm sure he will come around!
