Thank you for posting these. I honestly didnt realize just how horrible this was. Pictures are worth a thousand words. My heart goes out to each person who went through this mass destruction. Wow....The damage was so terrible. The homes, town, businesses, etc that are a total lost. How does a city rebuild, I'd be in fear of this happening again. Insurance probably doesnt even cover most of this. The lives lost, this missing people, people without no where to go, no family.......I could go on and on, I think we all must continue to pray each and every day for everyone who is involved. The heartache is not over for all those people. Ike was like the devil, powerful, destroying lives in it path, bringing heart ache. I serious could not imagine going through this. I would have been terrified. I hate storms anyway.
Dear God, please touch each and every life involved from the ones who lost loved ones, to the ones who lost everything, to even the people without power, water, etc. Comfort them Lord....Bring peace to their lives again. Help them to carry on after such destruction. Amen |
