Vicky, my friend, I feel your pain - I have become a wire splicing expert however today I had to buy a new power supply AND cable for one of the components that goes with my computerized sewing machie - to the tune of $60.00.
There is some concern that the when the cord was chewed it might have shorted out the converter box and if that happened then I just lost $2,000 worth of computer software/hardware. Keep your fingers crossed - I am almost afraid to hook it all up
