Yeah, I've had good results with a water pistol too. My husband has actually just bought a sonic anti-bark device. It's a box that you fit to a wall or whatever and it emits a high pitched frequency noise that humans cant hear but dogs can, which is triggered by a loud noise (such as excess barking). It has definitely reduced my doggy noise polltion, but not stopped it completely. Makes it possible to live with instead of curing it. If that makes sense?!
