I don't believe I would trust them. I bought harnesses and seatbelt clips, esp. for use as a car seat harness. They are much heavier and stronger than even a walking harness with buckles or clips. In the event of even a minor collision at 30 m.p.h., the force of the thrust is unbelievable.
