I was feeding my little boy Nutro until I saw the thread about another yorkie death credited to Nutro the other day. Someone recommended a site to me that rates all the dog foods, canned and dry and lists the ingredients. I have found it very helpful. I switched him to Wellness Core. That is supposed to be a very good food. I called my vet and he recommends Hills Science Diet and Eukanuba. He had never heard of any of the high end foods that I was considering. I was shocked he is a great vet but not in the food recommending department apparently. The website is Dog Food Analysis - Reviews of kibble
