For my bday my DH is going to get me a lil girl yorkie!!
When should I start actually going to breeders and looking at the parents and pups? It's 5 months away, but I know that finding a good breeder may take some time... not to mention making sure I have the $$ for everything! I live in SE Mo, and I know there are a lot of puppy mills in Mo... I want to do it right this time!! Teddy was from a 'hobby breeder'.. they were great ppl, he came with a purina book though... and they fed him purina puppy... I want to find someone that is very educated on their breed, and I would like to know about the parents bloodline and all..
Also, I would like to know if I should only look at certain registrations... Teddy is APRI...
What is a reasonable amount to expect to pay for a pup in Mo?
