 Tinkerbelle for BaileysMom
Starla, Here is the Tinkerbelle dress. I put a strip of velcro on the straps so that it attaches to the velcro on the belly. That way they are adustable to a point. I wasn't very successful with the wings. I tried making them using wire, but this irridescent netting wasn't working well to sew them. So I also tried using white cardstock and bonding the fabric to it and that didn't have enough stiffness to make them stand. So I used plastic canvas and sewed down the edges to it. I will place a white ribbon thru it so they tie under the tummy. These turned out nice and stiff so they will stand up like Tinkerbelles wings do. Plus they don't have to be sewed to the dress and you will be able to have her wear the dress alone as well. Let me know what you think or if you have other ideas to do the wings. Also I decided not to use the tulle because it was making it too bulky for this tiny size.
