You said they "may be" a scam, not that it was. No apologies needed. Don't let yourself be bullied. They clearly have a lot of counterdictions in their terms of use and entry rules.
Again, don't let yourself be bullied by someone. Obviously with rules like that, and broken english and all caps in return emails, I would be suspicious as well.
