I was surprised when our breeder released Gucci to us after his 6 week checkup and first shots. We were really lucky with him because he slept through the first night. After that we had a couple nights where I got up with him once. A few nights later, he started waking up at around 5. Pottied on the pad and back to sleep. He was only 1.3# then. After about a week he went straight to the potty pad. Once he had all his shots I started him outside. He's really doing well. He's started letting me know when he has to go out so while we still find little surprises every once in a while, I'm pleased with his progress. Again whatever you decide, make sue you're consistent with the training. These little guys want to please, so let him know what you want! |
