I posted the same story for someone else going through this, you are not alone! Our Zeke was rescued from a shelter where he was housed with bigger dogs who ate all of the food in the communal pen. When we got him, he ate for days and never did give up his 'vacuuming' ways. He was always healthy and an average meal lasted 10-15 seconds, all the way until he was put down. There is no enjoyment of the taste, but he loved to fill his belly!

I have no tips, I'm sorry to say, we never broke Zeke of his habit. Good luck with your hearty eater!!
