I picked my first pup up at the breeders and drove home with him (only about an hour or so). But even at that, he was quiet and quite shy. When I brought the second pup home, she was quiet the whole drive, but when we got home an she saw the first pup, everything was fine. I think being by themselves with no one else their size, not to mention the TRAUMA of flying (air pressure changes, *NOISE*, strange people) and being away from Mom and siblings for the first time ... well, *you'd* be quiet too, while you were trying to figure out what happened.
I haven't read your other thread, so I may be suggesting something already said, but worms can make for a bit of bloody stool, especially roundworms. Worms are very common in puppies ... nothing that can't be cured quite handily. But, as others have said, you really should get the pup to the vet ASAP for a check-up, just to ensure he's healthy.
Here's to a long, healthy and happy relationship with your new pup! |
