When my dtr was given a betta she would put a mirror by his vase(he lived in the bottom of a clear vase with a plant growing out of the top. He had the roots to play in) once a day for a few minutes just to keep him from getting too bored. He would "fluff" up and strut his stuff. Pretty funny.
