I would leave her at your parents' house several times before she actually has to stay over. They can call you for questions or problems and you can have her care plan in place. I would not go get her if there is a problem unless your parents feel they cannot handle it. It is sorta like a sleepover for kids who are not used to being away from home overnight.
Also, she should be okay with being alone for 2 hours if you start teaching her now. Confine her in a room or large crate or Xpen and leave water, food and potty supplies and lotsa toys. Make sure her area is safe from things she can chew or get into/eat like cleaning supplies, etc. Just leave her for short periods of time without making a big issue out of it. Just act as you do all the time before you leave her-she will quickly pick up your feelings of guilt and will react to them. Offer her a treat and toys and be on your way..Sounds simple, doesn't it? I lie. It is not easy but you can do it. Most of us have gone thru this at some time or other and our babies turned out okay..
She will still know you love her...and remember, she does not know how to tell time so she will not know if she is alone for 20 mins or 2 hours.
