 please help
I have a 14 weeks old Yorki . I got her when she was 8 weeks old and have been with her every hour since then. Taking her to work and everywhere I go . I am starting a new job soon and will have to leave her with my parents when on business trips and on her own couple of hours during the day otherwise .
How should I go about getting her used to it? Is a dog ever getting used to being left on it's own? I read this scary article claiming that a dog believes you will never come back every time you leave it and therefore goes through a trauma every time you walk out the door, never getting used to it. That sounds horrid and makes me wonder how people have dogs at all and try to run a semi normal life. Please if anyone could give me a tip on this I would be very grateful . |
