Sorry it's been a while--- just wanted to give you all an update- the spay went well
. Zoe spent the night at the vet's (they have 24 hr care) and she was a little out of it when we picked her up. She didnt need an e-collar but she had some pain meds. By the 2nd day she was back to herself and I had to keep her from being so active. They pulled some teeth while she was under and the total cost was a little over $300. My biggest issue with the spay was having to wait 2 weeks before grooming-
LOL!!!! She's doing great now- thanks you all again for your advice and sharing your experiences
