 Diarrhea in 10 month old
I'm afraid that I've really unsettled my baby. She's been eating Wellness puppy dry food but she hasn't been liking it. To get her to eat in the mornings I play fetch with her and when she returns the ball the Wellness is her treat. She usually turns her nose up at it at first but eventually will eat enough. The only way I could get her to eat it at night was to add a little beef broth. Even that stopped working and I was hand feeding her with mixed results.
Two days ago I added Wellness puppy canned food to the dry food. Not a lot, just enough to mix it up. She's eating it but now has the runs. For the last two nights I've been up with her 3 times plus several times during the day.
Now what? Would the canned food give her the runs? Do I just need to stick with it and she'll adjust? She's 4.4 lbs and we're not talking about a lot of food here. Two teaspoons of dry food and and maybe the same or less of canned.
I'd like to take her off the Wellness and find a dry food that she really likes but I don't want to upset her sensitive stomach anymore than I have.
