We also set up a "condo" for Gucci. He has a space for eating, sleeping, playing and potty. We put him in his condo when we're out of the house. He took to the pad right away. Last month we took him on a week long trip. By being with him and constantly taking him outside, he picked up the idea of outside potty breaks. I think I'll pick up the pad starting tomorrow. He doesn't use it anymore, except to play with it! Gucci will be 5 months on the 1st and tonight he sat in front of me and whimpered When I got off the couch he led me to the door! We took our walk and then he wanted to go to bed. We're very fortunate because I believe he's 99% trained. I think the trick is persistence. We walk at least 10 - 15 minutes every 4 hours or so.
