Isn't it awful here(in TX)? People are out all the time selling pups like that. I guess it's similar to buying from a petstore, as you have no idea how the pup was raised or what it will end up as. I've heard quite a few stories about mixed breed pups being sold as purebred. My aunt bought a dog almost 15 years ago that supposed to be a Scottie and now looks more like a black and tan Benji. Fortunaltely she didn't pay a lot(get scammed) and Buddy is a great dog. One thing we can all do to stop it is complain to the stores they are sitting in front of. Walmart especially shouldn't allow this, they won't even let us take our babies into to shop.
