my puppy is either chewing me or something else and is running around like a crazy dog OR sleeping. there is no in between of him cuddling and just sitting on my lap. He does follow me every where as I mentioned in the other thread but there's no cuddling for a prolonged time.

Your looking at three years to four sometimes as they are not fully grown mentally until then.
For now work on swapping a cuddle for good food treats and match good things happen if you let me touch.
