It's usually a good idea to mention it if you are referring to a thread other than the one you are on. Everyone usually assumes posts on a thread have to do with that thread. I'm pretty sure most everyone thought you were referring to Indiana and you were the only one who realized you weren't. It just helps prevent confusion.
